Religion word wide has cause more harm than good, were some faith believe others are infidels and deserve to die. Sometimes it is good to imagine if anyone has the power to kill or to destroy public property and peace. Makurdi the capital of Benue State, both religions have been recognized by the authority and have been given the freedom of worship and public functions. In the streets of Makurdi, Fridays some streets are completely blocked or cutoff for road users. This is mostly done during Friday Mosque. Major streets like One Way popularly called Onitsha street and Federal Medical Center Junction in Wadata are areas most times this feign act is common. The questions is, does any religion has the power to kill? Destroy? If NO then, the world must seat up against this faith that do not want to see others, do not welcome other faiths but want to be accommodated by other faiths. Its touching when our brothers and sisters in Southern Kaduna were recently killed like bush animals without anyone speaking for them or anyone been arrested for such crime. Jos has received this attacks many times, Agutu people were totally castrated in the middle of her own town. Gwer west local government of Benue also saw the darkest night in their history when over 200 men and women not excluding children and pregnant women were sentence to brutal death by suspected Fulani herds. If religion is a war, this is the time to face the bitter truth no matter how hard we may find difficult to swallow this pill. Killing an infidel is killing the other faith so therefore, measure should be taken were agreements must be reached and sign by the aggressive religion like the Muslim to arrest this ugly trend. If freedom is given to them to worship and in turn they kill same people who gave them land to settle on, how true is this religion? or do we keep depending on God to come down and fight? God has done that before and will never come down to fight on till judgement day.
