There is no doubt corruption is one major problem in Nigeria and has forced many government Agencies to operate on a very poor level were every worker takes home what he or she lay hands on. Its is as well important to ask why corruption has become the order of the day in every Ministry and Agency. In Nigerian the poor salary of workers take home is nothing to write home about and compare to what a political office holder ends up with just six Months in office. Corruption is deadly and destructive, any Ministry or Agency which has too many corrupt members of Staff finds it very difficult to grow or reach the optimal stage of performance. It is good to observe that, Nigeria government led by Gen Buhari came in with the zeal to give corruption a total fight by introducing his anti corruption crusade but the major problem as it is today is that Buhari lack the power to fight corruption hence most of his cabinet members were accused of corruption in the past and still have a major roll in his present government without any probe. Corruption is a viral that spread destructively faster and has its root from the common man who work in the Ministry or Agency as a junior or senior Staff who after working for Months has nothing to show for or has nothing to actually brag as what he or she has achieved after thirty five years of hard work. Should Nigeria government realized the importance of up review of workers salaries every five years as agreed every worker in Nigeria will smile home and by putting smile on an average Nigeria worker, you are indirectly and generally pushing corruption to the wall, this is the measures to kick this evil out without forcing workers to put pressure on government. As it is today workers salaries are still slash down by some governors who haven know fully well that workers are not leaving happily and the said #18,000 minimum wage does not cut across board. There have been general increment in the market but there have never been any increment in salaries this situation is considered most dangerous and allow evil thought in workers who have access to funds of their work place there by converting such money to their personal use in a criminal way. The anti corruption crusade by president Buhari most reflect human disposition were workers needs through welfare packages will be better than it is now. President Buhari must know that every worker whose salary does not come as at when due and at the same time is paid poorly has the tendency of thinking outside the box to get his or her transport and to keep body and soul together. Corruption is evil and a collective fight will expose corruption were every worker even if not completely satisfied will at least leave within what he or she earns when salaries are frequent and better.
