HERDSMEN SACKED SOME TIV COMMUNITIES IN BENUE STATE!

In Benue State the last few weeks have been constant and steady killing of some innocent men and women which also include children. Benue State is a Christian dominated State but a State with total peace were all group of people are allowed to practice free religion and free cultural and traditional events without measures. The State is in a popular region called North Central were for it is know as Meddle Belt in real term for better Democratic dividends but has been pulled off by Northern empires for a continuous denier to the right of the Middle Belt region. The attack on this peaceful people by Fulani herdsmen has become more persistent than anyone could ever thought. Many villages in Benue State have been sacked and sent out of their homes were everyone runs for their dear lives for the fear of unknown. This killings have become more coordinated were by this suspected Fulani herdsmen always come late hours of the morning to wait on this long asleep innocent people who are always attacked in their deep sleep and usually become helpless. Since Saturday 9th of March to this moment many innocent and helpless people were killed in Buruku local government area of Benue State and cut across some other local government like Kwande, Gboko, Guma were scores of people have been reported dead. Right from yesterday were tension grew aggressively high and anxiety began to form major part of the unknown has erupt to cities were security is relaxed and all eyes may have been on the herdsmen who have been fighting mostly in some villages. Since this attacks, President Buhari has not made any public broadcast on the incessant killings nor have he sent an emergency presidential team to ascertain the root cause of the day to day massacre of the Tiv tribe in Benue State. The governor of Benue State Mr. Samuel Ortom who later visited the area has given order that herdsmen should move out of Buruku at once. The security in Benue State is weak presently and no one feels safe especially in the villages were herdsmen parade cows at will and still kill members of those communities at will without been attacked or arrested. Since the out break of this crisis no single arrest has been made or confirmed to be a Fulani or herdsman at any point of attack. We are calling on the international communities to immediately come to the aid of this helpless and innocent children who now move from bush to bush at night and day looking for a safe passage and landing. The helpless and good people of Benue have received many death attacks which include the most recent Agatu massacre were villages were burnt down women raped and everyone killed in cold blood.
