WHY BUHARI HAS FAILED

The coming of APC on board amid PDP internal crisis and confusion was a divine intervention and above all timely. It will be recalled that since 1993 to date this is the first time general elections in Nigeria received wide decision of the masses were every vote if not all at least most votes were counted. The coming of Buhari was like the coming of a human saviour who was design to come in a unique way and save a particular group of people amid their poor state and suffering. A change is a turn around in any circumstance, this means a change can be positive of negative but it is expected to be more of positive since it is something that is most dependent on public desire. Buhari as an individual has failed in every aspect of his administrations since take over, APC as a group may not have performed up to expectations but this is because once the head is weak the entire body fails to perform or function optimally. It is bitter to say Buhari has failed because he has not yet measured half of the sixteen years misused by the PDP but it is important to note that, since the failure of PDP everyone in Nigeria has began to be more conscious than ever. The change was coming when some group of party bees failed to deliver on mandate this is why every one was expecting Buhari to do a miracle which ordinarily he may not have succeeded with his present crop of team in governance. I see Buhari failures in the following
1. APPOINTMENTS: Buhari is a distinguished leader whom every one was looking up to and the coming of Buhari was like the first rain of the year but the manner in which he has given appointment does not show on a natural spread sheet of Nigeria.
2. RULE OF LAW: Buhari's coming on board alone almost gave many politicians heart attack. Some petty politicians already started returning monies that no one ever asked them to do so. But the manner at which Buhari has allowed some over night highly corrupt leaders to creep into APC over time to gain freedom is unspeakable. There is no rule of law and in every democracy what people really want to see and get is access to fair and transparent judicial processes. Buhari administration has refused to recognised court orders were by tinting judicial powers.
3. HERDSMEN/FARMERS CLASHES: It is important to recall that the Fulani suspected Herdsmen killing is ongoing in almost every part of Nigeria this is not new to any one. The worst hit is the recent killing of over 70 men and women both pregnant with their children who were butchered in cold blood in their sleep in Guma and Logo Local Government Areas of Benue State. This hit was not just coordinated but as well sponsored by a group of persons whose influence has not been easy to penetrate.
4. 2019 AMBITIONS: On the head of the ongoing crisis in Benue State and the day Benue State was burying those killed by Fulani suspected Herdsmen, Buhari accepted to have a meeting with some self seeking politicians who came in disguised to endorsed him for his second term in 2019 and he happily granted them audience and at the same time did not show in his appearance if Nigeria was going through trying times. For Buhari to go about normal activities when 73 innocent men and women who were buried and his failure to come personally in Benue to have first hand security report is the highest failure any one can think about.
It is always sad when politics is driven into the shadows of self seeking and self serving politicians who do not bother what happened to you or the country all they care is what they benefit with their families and friends who over time will never tell them the truth no matter what. The killing of innocent people is rather on the high increase as the attacks on villages have been intensified by the Fulani Suspected Herdsmen all round.
