The Steaming Political Stew: Its very obvious that every politician knows the best ways to play their cards even when it becomes very clear that politics is a game of number. The upcoming general election in 2019 has already began to see some of the political actors with big wings wanting to fly higher preparing to press forth their safe passage to win tickets in verious positions in Nigeria. The recent mass exodus from some National Assembly members of APC to PDP and other political parties in Nigeria by some politicians is really a steaming politic stew that has for long been expected though not very sure when this was going to happened and yesterday Tuesday 24 July, 2018 saw how it all began with Senator Saraki led factions of 14 APC members of APC defecting to PDP the main opposition party and other parties. The steaming stew may not have an end to which the crisis in APC may last but the truth is that, the reasons people came out to vote APC in most offices was simply for the facts that the leadership of PDP became highly irresponsible and needed to be relief of her over staying in power by the electorates. Now that APC took the political driver's seat but failed to took every one along may cost them the 2019 general elections if the party failed to immediately solve its pending crisis there may be more defections from APC to PDP and other parties which i believed the current political war is the beginning of good things that may happened in Nigeria political theatre. The steaming stew is no longer a hidden cookies and the spill of anger may mislead many of the defectors to fall prey and others may end up in the hands of their enemies  who for one reason or another will use them (defectors) for political rituals to have themselves a better place and secure their tickets. It is now very clear that, the die is cast and the political war theatre is beginning to witness high level of defections from one party to another but it is always been so but this very defection is not too good for a ruling party who have not shown concern and have failed to react timely before the beasts were cast into the fields to devour who ever stands on the way or is found wanting. Just as the national politics is witnessing a crack down so are the States witnessing terrible dark clouds over the few days were signs have explain some State governors are warming up to also cross carpet to other parties to secure their tickets to run in 2019 general elections. It is not very clear how many governors who have received RED cards but even those with YELLOW cards may be suspended in the their next match coming up in 2019 by their parties and most governors with RED card new themselves and the ones with YELLOW cards new themselves as well.
