In addition to the above, Governor Hyacinth Alia has approved the payment of salaries to civil servants in the state. The payment has already begun and is ongoing.

The role of an opposition party is to check excesses and present alternatives to government positions. Unfortunately, Benue has an opposition party which flew on the twin wings of ineptitude and propaganda, and now has an impaired ability to initiate constructive criticisms.

Before coming to the submission "Alia's take off the Worst Since 1999", Bemgba Iortyom should have first admitted that Ortom's administration was the worst since 1999.

Ortom's administration has left Benue in a bottomless guff of debt that three generations ahead cannot pay.

No government in history has undertook such a systematic looting as the one done by the ousted PDP administration in Benue State.

Let is be on record that since 1999, Governor Alia's administration is the only one that did not inherit any vehicle from its predecessor. For the past one month now, Governor Hyacinth Alia has not bought any new vehicle. He is driving his old private vehicles. Where Governor Suswam handed over a fleet of new vehicles to the incoming administration, Governor Ortom left nothing behind for the new administration.

The PDP should get busy contending with reproach, shame and dishonour they got from the public and stop disturbing the Reverend gentleman from doing his work.
