The Speaker Benue State House of Assembly, Honorable Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh has called on aggrieved members of Benue Motorcycle Hiring Association, BEMOA, Gboko Chapter to sheathe their swords and give peace a chance.
The Honorable speaker has appealed to the inaugurated members to desist operations, pending his scheduled interface with the stakeholders on Thursday, 6th July by 10am at Benue state House of Assembly complex with a view to determining the root cause of the controversy and proferring a lasting solution to it.
To this end, the speaker has called upon the the following persons for a crucial meeting, They are;
1. Hon. Basil Yina, APC Gboko Chaimam.
2. Orver Aga, Gboko APC youth leader.
3. Jerry Asor, zonal youth leader zone B
4. Benjamin Chia
5. Terwase Tughgba.
6. Boniface Tyoor.
7. Terkula Abur.
8. Aondoaver Asue.
9. Solomon Ishi.
10. Daniel Ker.
11. Vengeryina Ipav.
For the avoidance of further and break down of any law and order, the speaker has also appealed that no factions of the Union should carry out Revenue drive in the interim.
Security Agencies operating within Gboko local Government are here by directed to SEAL the Offices and ensure that the two factions of Gboko branch 1 and Gboko branch 2 do not operate within Gboko until the speaker is able to meet with the above stakeholders and a lasting solution is found.
