As efforts are being made to put smile on the faces of persons of concern at the various Internally Displaced Persons camp, the Executive Secretary, Benue State Emergency Management Agency (BSEMA), Sir. James Anodoakaa Iorpuu yesterday, 27th July 2023, carried out a symbolic food distribution at the Ichwa IDPs camp.
Performing the distribution, the Ag. BSEMA ES, lauded the tireless efforts of the Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia for graciously approving funds for the purchase of food and non food items for the persons of concern as well as declaring unofficial camps as official.
The SEMA boss appreciated the patience exhibited by the IDPs even though they were out of food for sometimes, admonishing the IDPs to pray for the Governor to actualise his robust plans toward taking them back to their communities.
