Benue State APC Youth Leader Comrade Tertindi Caphas-sado Adom has flag off the Distribution of 1000 Forms for Youth Empowerment Scheme today at the State Party's Secretariat in Makurdi among the party Local Government Chairmen and Youth Leaders with a charge that they be fair in sharing of the forms with their various local constituencies.
Delivering his keynote address, the APC Lion of Benue Youth stated that it was His Excellency Fr. Alia's prerogative to making sure that the youths are taken off the streets of Benue and be meaningfully engaged and it was as a result of this fact that the exercise was pronounced by the Governor during the Party's Stakeholders meeting at the Banquet Hall of Government House Makurdi.
The Youth Leader who also gave a sound warning that none of the Forms going to be issued out should not be duplicated for whatever reason as stiff measures will be melted out for defaulters, also emphasized that the exercise is designed to cut across the twenty three local government of the State and under no circumstances should the affected person(s) be shortchanged.
About two hundred and seventy-six(276) Forms were given out to the local government party chairman with the aim of ensuring that at least one person from all the Council Wards in the State benefits from the scheme.
Responding on behalf of the Party's Local government officials, the ALGON Secretary thanked Comrade Adom for his leadership style which he described as fantastic and assured him of a smooth working synergy.
The Flag Off was attended by all local government party chairmen, all local government youth leaders as well as party faithful and youths.
