The Benue State House of Assembly today 25th July 2023 set up an Adhoc Committee for the Verification of Staff/Civil Servants' Salaries and Wage Bill.
The committee has the following members,

2. Hon. Matthew Damkor- member
3. Hon. Gyila Solomon- member
4. Hon. Manger Manger -member
5. Hon. Yanmar Ortese- member
6. Hon. Micheal Audu- member
7. Hon. Kennedy Angbo- member
8. Hon. Blessed Onah- member
9. Hon. Bemdoo Ipusu- member
10. Hon Abraham Z. Jabi- member.
The committee has called on the following Committees set up by the executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia to appear before it unfailingly tomorrow 26th July 2023 at the Benue State House of Assembly complex by 10 am to explain the general outcry caused by their recent activities.
1. Governors Committee on Staff and Salary Verification
2. SUBEB/TSB.
3. NUT
4. NULGE
5. The Auditor General of State, and Local Government.
The Assembly further appealed to those affected by the recent verification, Unions, groups, and association not to go on protest and allow the Adhoc committee set up by the Assembly to carry out its fact-finding mission of resolving the problem.
