SUSWAM VISITS AKUME, PLEDGE PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT

Earlier today, the former Governor of Benue State, HE. Sen. Gabriel Suswam Ph.D. CON paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation HE. Sen. Dr. George Akume. 

The two leaders discussed important issues of the state including the deteriorating state of security in the Sankara axis and the way forward for Benue State and Tiv nation in particular.

Suswam congratulated the SGF on his new appointment, he further expressed, deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding his predecessor and leader of Tiv politics worthy of such an important position. 

In his speech the SGF said, Tinubu's government shall be all-encompassing, saying that the first law the new president signed into law is the Electricity Bill which was sponsored by Sen Gabriel Suswam during the 9th national assembly. 

The SGF thanked Suswam and his entourage among whom were Dr. Paul Orhii, Hon.Richard Gbande Ph.D, Hon. Bob Tyough, and Hon. Tsavsar Joseph for the visit, he said they should never leave him and continue to visit as often as they could. 

The leaders held hands and took pictures as they pledged to work together for the peace and development of the country, Benue state, and Tiv land.
