AGEMA SEEKS COLLABORATION WITH THE POLICE TO CURB ILLEGAL REVENUE ACTIVITIES

The Acting Chairman Benue State Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), Mr Emmanuel Agema ACTI was today at the police headquarters on a courtesy call to the Benue State Commissioner of police , CP. Bartholomew Nnamdi Onyeka

The Chairman felicitated with the police boss on his resumption to duty as CP Benue State Command. 

Mr. Agema said, BIRS needed the police to effectively generate revenue for the State. He therefore stated that his visit was also to seek collaboration with the police in revenue generation.

The tax boss particularly notified the CP of the activities of miscreants on our roads in the name of revenue collection.

In his response, the CP thanked Mr. Agema for the visit, stating that he was aware of such illegalities as he had dealt with such criminals in his previous postings. He promised to give BIRS his full support to bring an end to the menace.
