The Speaker of the Benue state house of Assembly Hon. Aondona Dajoh today at plenary read a letter from the Governor of Benue state, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia conveying three additional names for commissioners nominees.
Earlier the governor had sent 14 commissioners nominees to the house for screening and confirmation. They are,
1. Mrs. Joy Luga -Gboko LG
2. Barr. Omale Omale- Apa LG
3. Yarmar Ortese - Guma LG
4. Rev. Frederick Ikyaan -Gwer- west LG
5. Hon. Ogwu Odoh - Ogbadibo LG
6. Hon. Kwaghgba Amande- K/Ala LG.
7. Mathew Abo -Ukum LG
8 . Itiza Imojime- Buruku LG
9. Hon. Aondowase Kunde- Konshisha LG.
10. Prof. Moses Ogbaji Oju LG.
11. Barr. Matthew shaage, Ushongo LG.
12. Hon. Mike Oglagba - Otukpo LG.
13. Hon. Ann Itodo- okpokwu LG.
14. Barr. Fidelis Mnyin Makurdi LG.
The additional three commissioners' nominees received from the governor are,
15. Rt. Hon. Ikyange Terkimbir - Ushongo
16.Hon. Nick Oworo- Obi
17. Awuna Orpiin - Tarka
The House will begin their screening on Thursday 10th August by 10 am.
The Assembly Directs the nominees to submit a soft copy of their CV to the House committee Chairman on House Service, Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga at Assembly complex before Noon tomorrow.
