DAJOH RECEIVES IGBO COMMUNITY IN BENUE STATE ON COURTESY VISIT


The Honorable Speaker of the Benue state house of Assembly, Aondona Dajoh has received on courtesy call members of the Igbo Community from Gboko local government who came to pay him a visit at his residence in Makurdi.

The Speaker appreciates the Igbo community in Gboko for the show of solidarity recalling many happy moments with the Igbo people while growing up in Gboko.

Speaking further the speaker said "I am a speaker today because the Almighty God chose me. I was the unqualified candidate before Men to be the speaker but God's mercy found me"

The speaker encouraged the Igbo community to support the Fr. Alia administration and be law-abiding citizens promising them that nothing will hinder them from doing their business in Benue state. He assured them of the ease of doing business in Gboko and the security of their business always. 

 Earlier the leader of the delegation Chief Ambrose Emeka Olili, President General of the Igbo community Gboko said the Igbo community has come to identify with the speaker and thank God for his mercies on the speaker knowing where he started and where God has taken him.

Chief Matthew Abasi, the Mayor of the Igbo community in Benue who is also the CEO of Chicadef Nigeria said he is happy today seeing God elevate his friend and prayed God to bless and keep him adding that " Dajoh is one of their own".
