The Executive Governor of Benue state, Reverend Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has set up an investigative panel into the activities of Lobi Stars Football Club Makurdi.
The Committee has the speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Honorable Aondona Dajoh as Chairman.

Sequel to this, the Chairman, Hon Aondona Dajoh has called upon good-spirited individuals and lovers of Lobi Stars Football Club who might have had issues with the club and those who have ideas that will move the club forward to submit their complaints and suggestions in writing to the office of the Honorable Speaker at the Benue state house of Assembly complex on or before Friday, 25th August 2023.
The Chairman on behalf of the committee assures Governor Alia, Benue people and lovers of Lobi Stars FC that the committee will do a thorough job to unravel the decay in the club and advise the government on appropriate measures to follow and bring the Club back to its days of glory.
